Revista de Vinhos went to find out what Mértola has to tell about wines and grapes: “There are few producers in this region, but begins to have a story to tell. The wines are there and are proof that there is still a lot of Alentejo to discover”.
Among the wines tasted by the magazine, the Discórdia Reserva 2015, which presents a “beautiful nose, lots of ripe fruit”, “well-balanced corpulence” and freshness that gives balance to the persistent finish. Well done, says a tasting note from Revista de Vinhos.

From the lands of Mértola, with grapes grown in schist soils near the Guadiana, this is a wine with a “fruity flavor and enveloping freshness”.
The new Discórdia wines “confirm the ability of the lands of Mértola to produce quality wines”, writes Visão magazine, reporting in a tasting note that Discórdia white 2017 reveals an “intense aroma”, “full palate” and ” good acidity”.
At the end of the year, the renowned publication returns to the tasting of Discórdia wines, considering the Discórdia Reserva red 2017 surprising.
